A graduate of McGill University and Parsons School of Design, Rohma has amassed over 15 years of experience in the international luxury fashion industry working for brands such as Carolina Herrera, Giorgio Armani, Marchesa, Harvey Nichols Dubai, Harper’s BAZAAR Arabia and NET-A-PORTER. Seeing a gap in the market for high-quality, strategic localized content, Rohma established the GCC’s premier luxury and fashion-focused copywriting consultancy Rohma Theunissen Copywriting in Dubai in 2020.
Renowned for developing powerful brand narratives that merge messaging strategy, positioning and storytelling, Rohma has since gone on to work with over 100 clients around the world. With a diverse copywriting portfolio that spans across fashion, watches, jewelry, hospitality, design, culture, real estate and more, Rohma’s client roster includes celebrated global and local names including Cartier, Messika, Richard Mille, TRU & Beyond, Harvey Nichols, Borgo Sant Andrea, Monno, Banyan Tree and Shevy New York.
In 2024, she launched Copy Inc. Studio, a digital platform dedicated to empowering up-and-coming content and copywriters. Copywriting Business Academy is the inaugural course launched under the Copy Inc. umbrella. A first-of-its-kind course, Copywriting Business Academy merges contemporary business and marketing tactics with operational industry know-how and mentorship support, allowing students to graduate with a full-fledged copywriting business set-up in under 3 months.
